Research Interests

Organic Synthesis and Photopolymerization Chemistry — Photointiator design and synthesis, Green synthetic process development, Photoinitiation mechanism study.

  • Study on the photointiation and charge transfer sensitization of photoactive organic molecules in the photoplymerization. Designed and synthesized a series of cationic ferrocenium aromatic complexes, elucidating their photodecomposition reactions and photoredox reactions. Designed and synthesized biocompatibility dye molecules, such as flavonol analogs and curcumin analogs and investigated their sensitization activities, collaborating with aromatic iodonium salts to construct efficient charge transfer sensitization systems.

  • Study on the mixed system of photosensitive resin and ceramic powder in photosensitive 3D printing of ceramics. Revealed the impact of ceramic powder factors, such as light refraction, on the accuracy and polymerization speed of the photopolymerization system. Developed highly sensitive photosensitive ceramic slurries compatible with long-wave LED light sources for DLP-type 3D printing, providing a solution and theoretical support for 3D printing in the ceramic field.

  • Engaged in the development of synthetic processes for fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and intermediates. Unveiled the role of acidic ionic liquids in the acylation reactions of aromatic compounds and isomerization reactions of alkanes, elucidating the rules governing yield and selectivity in these reactions, achieving green synthesis.
