Research Interests

Analytical Chemistry — Characterization on the structures for the polymeric composites based on the luminescence techniques; Construction of the multifunctional polymeric composites.

  • Characterization on the structures for the polymeric composites—we have developed the fluorescence, chemiluminescence, and electrochemiluminescence techniques to evaluate the structures for the polymeric composites. An early-stage visualization strategy has been proposed to identify the aging evolution of polymers, and the lifetime of the polymers could be predicted.

  • We have also designed and prepared multifunctional polymeric composites with advanced phosphorescence and fluorescence behaviors, which could find potential applications in the optical devices.
