Research Interests

Reaction engineering, Chemical process coupling, Novel catalytic materials.

  • Exploiting new strategies for constructing adjacent multiple interface active sites for the tandem catalytic upgrading of biomass to efficiently achieve low-carbon synthesis of crucial oxygen/nitrogen-containing organic chemical intermediates.

  • Process coupling of CO2 and biomass comprehensive utilization based on anionic 2D nanomaterial to achieve negative-carbon synthesis of organic ketone/acid intermediates while converting low-concentration CO2 in the air or industrial flue gas into synthesis gas under light irradiation.

  • Integrating the low-temperature water-gas shift reaction with the water removal process to reduce the energy consumption in key dehydration unit operation and improving product quality on a greater scale.

  • Aiming at the thermal management for heterogeneous catalysis systems and combining the interface engineering to address the non-linear matching issue between reaction heat and heat transfer in catalytic micro-regions.
