Research Interests
Physical Chemistry / Applied Chemistry — Hierarchical structured nanomaterials synthesis, Inorganic synthetic methodology development, Catalyst design, Selective oxidation/hydrogenation/Electrocatalysis.
We always focus on the formation, structure and morphology control of hierarchically nanostructured heterogeneous catalytic materials involving unique nanosheet array and core@shell structures for catalytic selective oxidation / reduction process, and electrocatalytic water splitting
We have developed an facile in-situ synthesis strategy for three-dimensional nanosheets array structured hybrid of layered double hydroxide/rGO upon an one-step citrate-assisted aqueous coprecipitation method using monolayered graphene as a template aimed for highly efficient catalyst and/or support for selective hydrogenation of nitrophenol and/or selective oxidation of alcohols by green routes
We are interested in highly dispersed ultrafine Au/Pd nanoclusters (< 2.0 nm) over the transition metal-mediated multicomponent LDH-based support with atomically homogeneous distribution of metal cations on the layers associated with electronic and steric modification for selective oxidation of a large variety of alcohol by molecular oxygen and the reaction mechanism exploration
We are also interested in the functionalized inorganic-organic layered nanocomposite materials with electron and geometry-mediated for electrocatalytic water splitting and adsorption of hazardous metal ions and dyes in aqueous environment
