Research Interests

Inorganic Chemistry —Inorganic hydrothermal synthesis, Synthesis and performance study of porous materials, Catalyst design.

  • Synthesis of layered and porous organic-inorganic composite functional materials. My main research areas focus on the synthesis and self-assembly of molecular sieve porous materials, as well as the synthesis and performance development of novel organic zirconium phosphonate. I have explored the synthesis and evolution of porous materials from two-dimensional layered to three-dimensional pore structures, and synthesized a series of novel organic zirconium phosphonate, which are used as optoelectronic, superhydrophobic, and high adsorption materials. The synthesis fills the gap in international research on organic phosphonate zirconium materials. Many of the above research results have been published in the journals, such as Chemistry of Materials, Journal of Material Chemistry, Industrial&Engineering Chemistry Research, Sensors and Actors B, Microporous and Mesoporous Materials, Materials Chemistry and Physics, and Applied Surface Science.

  • My aother research area focuses on the integrated synthesis of polyolefin metallocene catalysts and carriers. By organically modifying the inorganic carrier, some strong coordination groups are connected on the surface of the inorganic carrier, and metallocene complexes are in-situ synthesized. The research has solved the problem of metallocene detachment from the surface of inorganic carriers, providing experimental and theoretical support for technical issues in synthesis of the polyolefins.
