Beijing, China – On the morning of May 14, 2024, Ge Yaolun, Chairman of Hailir Pesticides and Chemicals Group, led a delegation to the College of Chemistry for an exchange meeting held in Conference Room 201, Electrical Education Building, East Campus of Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT).
Yin Ping, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Chemistry, warmly welcomed the delegation. In his speech, Secretary Yin Ping provided an overview of the college's historical development, talent training programs, discipline advancements, and scientific research achievements. He expressed his hope that this meeting would be a catalyst for deeper university-enterprise cooperation between the College of Chemistry at BUCT and Hailir Pesticides and Chemicals Group, aiming for mutually beneficial outcomes.
Chairman Ge Yaolun introduced Hailir Pesticides and Chemicals Group by detailing its development history, industrial layout, and its distinctive and advantageous products. He highlighted the group's interest in engaging in collaborative scientific research with BUCT, particularly in the development and process improvement of original drugs, preparations, and drug intermediates.
Liu Kefeng, Minister of Technical Cooperation at Hailir Pesticides and Chemicals Group, presented a comprehensive introduction to the group's technical requirements. Following this, participating professors engaged in a lively discussion, exchanging ideas on project topics such as synthesis methods, process amplification, and engineering equipment. The discussions also covered the specific content and modes for further in-depth collaboration.
Both Chairman Ge Yaolun and Secretary Yin Ping delivered concluding remarks, agreeing that the exchange meeting had yielded satisfactory results. They emphasized the commitment to further strengthen communications, implement cooperative projects, and achieve a win-win situation for both the university and the enterprise.
