On the afternoon of June 6, Lu Zequn, President of the China Magnesium Carbonate Industry Association, Cao Changkun, Executive Vice President and Secretary General, Wang Yulian, Deputy Secretary General and Professor at Shenyang University of Technology, and Liu Yue from the association's secretariat visited the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Resource Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology for technical exchange. Academician Duan Xue from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Executive Dean Zhou Xin from the Quzhou Resource Chemical Innovation Institute, and professors He Jing, Lin Yanjun, Feng Juntang, An Zhe, Gu Fu, and Associate Professor Zhang Jian from State Key Laboratory of Chemical Resource Engineering accompanied and participated in the exchange.
President Lu Zequn and Secretary General Cao Changkun introduced the historical evolution and current development status of the China Magnesium Carbonate Industry Association in detail. They expressed the hope to cooperate with the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Resource Engineering in research and development in the face of challenges under the dual-carbon goal for the magnesite industry.
Academician Duan Xue welcomed President Lu Zequn and his delegation, and introduced the achievements of the national key laboratory team in technologies such as the hydrogenation of carbonates for source carbon emission reduction and coupling enhancement, from basic laboratory research to engineering research. He hoped to carry out technical cooperation with the China Magnesium Carbonate Industry Association by leveraging the laboratory's own advantages.
